What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! John and I headed out on Lake Champlain during spring for an early morning start under cloudy skies with rain throughout the day. The water conditions around Isle la Motte were solid for our trolling approach, and it was a pleasure spending time with John on this 8-hour Guided Fishing Adventure with Captain Pete for Families through Lake Champlain Trout Scout Charters.

Once the stage was set, we focused our trolling efforts across the productive waters of Lake Champlain. John managed to boat some nice Lake Trout during our time on the water, and the trolling technique proved effective in these lake conditions.
